The Sutter Suzuki Studio is a music community in Boise of parents, students, teachers and performing artists that value the full potential of every child and a more just, equitable, and peaceful future. The SSS intentionally nurtures students' changemaker skills with an emphasis on Imagination, Critical thinking, and Empathy (ICE). Students collaborate and perform with local artists as we strive to advance racial solidarity and belonging through music. The SSS works with Boise community partners (Interfaith Sanctuary, Brown Like Me, Tidwell Services and Title 1 Boise Public Schools) to curate an economically and racially diverse studio. The SSS Community Scholarship Fund reduces barriers to access by providing full and partial scholarships based on level of need.

“Music exists for the purpose of growing an admirable heart.”
